What is ADSL?
ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) provides a dedicated service over a single existing telephone line.
ADSL is "always available" internet - you don't have to dial-up every time you want to access the Internet. You now have permanent, hassle-free Internet access 24/7.
How does ADSL work?
Broadband ADSL uses your existing telephone line. The signal is split into two channels, one for voice communications and the other for the high-speed data connection (this is done by Telkom).
